NOXO ENERGY has established a partnership with KOMFORT, a retail chain that has been present on the Polish market for over 30 years. Under the signed agreement, one of the fastest-growing EV charging station networks in the country will carry out a comprehensive investment, including the installation of fast DC charging stations for electric vehicles. The first stations will be set up at KOMFORT stores in Gliwice and Rumia, with plans for gradual expansion to additional locations.

As of February, the number of publicly available charging points in Poland has increased to 9,125, with 2,866 of them being DC fast-charging points. The most developed charging infrastructure is currently found in Warsaw (728 points as of February 2025), Gdańsk (335), Szczecin (279), Kraków (264), and Poznań (263). These figures highlight the continuous growth of Poland’s charging network, reflecting the increasing demand for such services and the growing commitment of businesses to promoting sustainable mobility.

The Acceleration of E-Mobility

As part of this new collaboration, NOXO ENERGY will install DC fast-charging stations at the first two Komfort store locations—in Gliwice and in Rumia on Grunwaldzka Street. Future expansion will include the addition of charging stations in other Polish cities: Bydgoszcz (Jagiellońska Street), Koszalin (Połczyńska Street), and Warsaw (Mineralna Street).

“Our partnership with KOMFORT is another key step in expanding the EV charging infrastructure in Poland. This collaboration allows us not only to increase the availability of our stations but also to support the energy transition and promote e-mobility among drivers. We are reaching new cities to meet the growing demand for fast and convenient charging. We want our charging points with the pink rhinoceros to become a natural part of the urban landscape, integrating with modern transport solutions and eco-friendly initiatives,” says Jakub Bańkowski, Management Board Member of NOXO ENERGY.

KOMFORT currently operates a network of over 160 stores across Poland, including both company-owned and franchised locations. According to Robert Stachniak, Development and Real Estate Management Director at Sklepy KOMFORT S.A., the recently signed agreement with NOXO ENERGY addresses the needs of modern customers.

“Our goal is to create modern and convenient shopping spaces that align with changing customer expectations. More and more people are choosing electric vehicles, so we want to provide them with the opportunity to charge conveniently while visiting our stores. Partnering with NOXO ENERGY is a step toward more eco-friendly and innovative solutions,” says Robert Stachniak.

Collaborating with Renowned Brands

NOXO ENERGY has already established partnerships with well-known brands such as the OBI home improvement chain, Karuzela Holding (owner of Karuzela shopping centers), and leading hotel brands, including Hilton and Radisson. Currently, the network comprises nearly 500 charging points, including 55 DC fast chargers. Additionally, the company has secured contracts for at least 100 new locations, pending connection approvals.

All NOXO ENERGY stations feature a modern and intuitive user system, allowing customers to easily locate charging points and monitor the charging process via a dedicated mobile app, which already has nearly 30,000 users.
